Since the start of the summer transportation, the total number of passengers sent by the national railway has exceeded 6 billion.

According to China Railway Group, from the start of the summer travel season on July 1st to August 11th, a total of 616 million passengers have been sent on national railways, an increase of 4.0% compared to the same period last year. The average daily number of passengers sent is 14.675 million, with 561 additional passenger trains added. Popular routes include Beijing to Shanghai, Zhengzhou, and Xi'an to Chengdu.
