On August 11, 2025, Wang Changlin, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, met with a delegation led by the Minister of Regional Integration Development of Brazil, Goes, in Beijing to exchange in-depth views on regional policies, regional coordinated development, sustainable development, and other issues of common concern to both sides. Representatives from the Ministry of Regional Integration Development of Brazil, the Brazilian Embassy in China, the Industrial Development Bureau, the Office for Business Promotion, and the Amazon Bank attended the meeting. After the meeting, the two sides signed the "Memorandum of Understanding between the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Regional Integration Development of the Federative Republic of Brazil on conducting exchanges and cooperation on regional policies".
