In the past decade, policies have comprehensively supported the development of the innovative drug industry. China has become the global center for the research and development of innovative drugs. In the products authorized to enter the U.S. market, 23% already come from Chinese pharmaceutical companies, and this proportion has been increasing year by year over the past 5 years. MNCs in Europe and America are also facing a large number of expiring patents and urgently need more products to supplement their pipelines. There is hope for an increase in opportunities for Chinese innovative drugs to go global.
