Mass production speeds up, revenue growth strong! Pony.ai's seventh generation Robotaxi production offline exceeds 200 units, passenger fare revenue in the second quarter triples.

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on August 12, the autonomous driving company Pony.ai disclosed unaudited financial reports for the second quarter of 2025, with strong performance growth and acceleration in the commercialization of Robotaxi. The total number of Pony.ai's Robotaxi vehicles has exceeded 500, with expectations to surpass 1000 by the end of the year; the company's total revenue in the second quarter reached 1.54 billion RMB (215 million USD), a year-on-year increase of 75.9% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 53.5%, with revenues from Robotaxi passenger fares more than tripling year-on-year. As of the end of the second quarter, the company's cash and cash equivalents, as well as short-term and long-term financial investments, amounted to 5.356 billion RMB (748 million USD).
