Alliance Subcommittee: The cumulative sales of new energy vehicles in 2025 are expected to reach 5.274 million units, a year-on-year increase of 30.9%.

On August 12, according to the China Passenger Car Association, the sales of passenger cars in June reached 2.14 million units, an increase of 20.6% year-on-year and 14.7% month-on-month. The sales of new energy vehicles reached around 1.11 million units, an increase of 33.3% year-on-year and 15.0% month-on-month, with a year-on-year growth rate leading the overall market. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 51.9% of the total passenger car sales in June, up 0.2% from the previous month and a 4.9% increase from the same period last year. Pure electric vehicle sales were approximately 676,000 units, an increase of 42.1% year-on-year and 16.8% month-on-month; plug-in hybrid vehicle sales were around 434,000 units, an increase of 21.6% year-on-year and 12.4% month-on-month. By 2025, cumulative sales of new energy vehicles reached 5.274 million units, an accumulated year-on-year increase of 30.9%.
