The Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation reported that from January to June 2025, Russia's trade surplus decreased by 18.39% year-on-year to $63.9 billion. During this reporting period, exports decreased by $13.3 billion to $195.5 billion. Imports increased slightly by $1.1 billion to $131.6 billion. In the first half of this year, the total foreign trade volume decreased by 3.6% to $327.1 billion. In Russia's export structure, mineral products accounted for the largest share at $110.1 billion. Metals and metal products ranked second, with export earnings increasing by 15.1% to $31.9 billion. Agricultural products ranked third with export earnings of $17.8 billion.
