Hong Kong Immigration Department: Hong Kong's total number of entries and exits exceeded 2.66 million over the weekend, setting a new record since the full reopening of the border checkpoints.

According to the data from Hong Kong Immigration Department obtained by the Securities Times app, the total number of inbound and outbound travelers at various control points in Hong Kong reached a new high after fully reopening over the past weekend (August 9-10). On Saturday and Sunday, there were over 1.32 million and 1.34 million inbound and outbound travelers respectively. Among them, the number of inbound and outbound travelers at Lok Ma Chau border on Saturday, and Shenzhen Bay and Man Kam To on Sunday, all hit record highs.
