Zhichong Finance APP learned that according to research by Goldman Sachs, the impact of US President Donald Trump's tariff policy on consumer prices is just beginning to show. Goldman economists, including Jan Hatzius, indicate that so far, US companies have borne most of the burden of Trump's tariffs, but as companies raise prices, this burden will gradually shift to consumers. As of June, American consumers are estimated to have borne 22% of the tariff costs, but if the latest tariffs follow the collection patterns of previous years, this proportion will rise to 67%.
