Guangdong Maritime Administration initiates Level IV emergency response to prevent tropical cyclones.

According to the Guangdong Maritime Affairs Bureau, as of 08:00 on August 12, the center of the 11th typhoon of this year, "Yangliu", was located approximately 730 kilometers south of Taitung City, Taiwan, with maximum wind force of level 11. It is expected to move westward at a speed of about 25 kilometers per hour, with its intensity gradually increasing. In accordance with the "Guangdong Maritime Affairs Bureau Emergency Response Plan for Tropical Cyclones", the bureau will initiate a level IV emergency response at 09:00 on August 12. The maritime department reminds all relevant units to promptly initiate emergency responses according to the actual situation of their jurisdiction, make full preparations, and fully implement all defense measures.
