Zhejiang launches emergency response for typhoons at sea.
Typhoon No. 11 of this year, "Yangliu," was located at 8:00 a.m. on August 12th on the ocean surface about 730 kilometers southeast of Taitung City, Taiwan. It is expected to move west-northwest at a speed of 25 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity, and is forecasted to make landfall on the southeastern coast of Taiwan around noon on the 13th, cross Taiwan, and approach the coast of Fujian and Guangdong. It is predicted that from the late night of today to the 14th, there will be a strong wind and wave process in the sea area of Zhejiang Province. According to the "Zhejiang Province Flood and Typhoon Emergency Response Plan," the provincial flood control decision was made at 11:00 a.m. on August 12th to initiate the emergency response to typhoons at sea.
