On August 11, due to rainfall, 5 small and medium rivers in Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Xinjiang experienced floods above the warning level, with the maximum exceeding the warning level by 0.08 to 0.53 meters. Among them, the Guixi River in Chongqing experienced floods above the protection level. In addition, 13 stations in the Lower Lixia area of Jiangsu and the surrounding rivers around Lake Tai had water levels exceeding the warning level by 0.03 to 0.43 meters. Currently, the Ministry of Water Resources is maintaining a level IV emergency response for flood defense in 13 provinces and regions, including Beijing, Hebei, Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Xinjiang.
