The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters on the export control list. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations on export control, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 21 and No. 22 on April 4 and 9, 2025 respectively, listing 28 U.S. entities on the export control list and prohibiting the export of dual-use items to them. In order to implement the consensus reached in the China-U.S. economic and trade high-level talks, it was decided that starting from August 12, 2025, the measures against the 16 U.S. entities listed on the export control list on April 4, 2025 will continue to be suspended for another 90 days; and for the 12 U.S. entities listed on the export control list on April 9, 2025, the relevant measures will be lifted. Exporters who need to export dual-use items to the above-mentioned entities should apply to the Ministry of Commerce in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items. The Ministry of Commerce will conduct reviews in accordance with the law and regulations, and those that meet the requirements will be granted permission.
