On the 11th local time, according to the website of the American magazine Fortune, research from the American Goldman Sachs Group shows that the cost of U.S. companies bearing U.S. tariffs is increasingly being passed on to American consumers. Goldman Sachs stated that many American companies will raise prices and reduce losses because of the cost of bearing U.S. tariffs, and this cost will undoubtedly be passed on to American consumers. Goldman Sachs pointed out that as of June, American consumers have absorbed about 22% of the tariff costs, and if the tariff policy continues, this number may increase to 67% in the future. Last month, a research report from Morgan Stanley also pointed out that over the next 10 years, the U.S. government may impose tariffs as high as $2.7 trillion, and this money will be paid for by American consumers.
