According to the financial news app, on August 12th, the Ministry of Finance announced that in order to implement the consensus reached in the China-US economic and trade negotiations, in accordance with the "Customs Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Customs Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China" and other laws and regulations, as well as the basic principles of international law, with the approval of the State Council, starting from 12:01 on August 12, 2025, the additional tariffs on imported goods originating in the United States, as stipulated in the "Announcement of the State Council Customs Tariff Commission on Imposing Additional Tariffs on Import Goods from the United States" (Tariff Commission Announcement No. 4 of 2025), will continue to suspend the implementation of the 24% tariff rate on the United States for an additional 90 days, while maintaining a 10% tariff rate on the United States.
