The China Meteorological Administration issued a blue alert for heavy rain at 6:00 on August 12th.

It is expected that from 08:00 on August 12th to 08:00 on the 13th, parts of southern Henan, central and southwestern Hubei, western and northern Hunan, eastern and southern Guizhou, northern Yunnan, western and northeastern Hebei, western and northern Beijing, northern Tianjin, northeastern Taiwan, and southeastern Tibet will experience heavy to torrential rain. Among them, parts of southern Henan, northeastern and southwestern Hubei, and northern Hunan will experience heavy downpours. The above-mentioned areas will also have short-duration heavy rainfall, with localized thunderstorms and strong convective weather.
