India releases $3.4 billion in oil aid compensation to three state-owned companies to ease pressure from rising natural gas prices.
The Indian government has confirmed that it will provide the long-awaited 3 trillion rupees payment to support its state-owned fuel retailers - Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation.
