National Health Commission issues "Management Measures for Infectious Disease Epidemic Early Warning"
On August 11th, the National Health Commission issued a notice on the implementation of the management measures for infectious disease epidemic alerts. It was proposed that disease prevention and control agencies at all levels should collect infectious disease monitoring information from multiple sources, conduct risk assessments for infectious disease epidemics, identify potential public health risks, and evaluate the level of epidemic risk. The risk levels are divided into four levels: extremely low risk, low risk, medium risk, and high risk. For risk levels of low risk and above, health risk alerts should be issued, and suggestions for warning information notification and warning decision-making should be put forward. For risk levels of extremely low risk, continue to do routine monitoring work. The content of the alerts should be clear, accurate, authoritative, professional, pay attention to protecting personal information, not be released without authorization, and not be fabricated or disseminated at will.
