Yang Yajun, former member of the Fangchenggang City Committee in Guangxi, has been expelled from the Communist Party and dismissed from public office.

According to the news from the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Yang Yajun, former member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Fangchenggang Municipal Committee, is under investigation for serious violations of discipline and law. Yang Yajun has been found to have committed multiple serious violations of discipline and law, including disloyalty and dishonesty to the Party, accepting gifts and bribes, engaging in power-for-sex transactions, and seeking personal gains using his position. He has seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious violations of duty and suspected of crimes such as embezzlement and bribery. According to relevant regulations, it has been decided to expel him from the Party, dismiss him from public office, and confiscate his ill-gotten gains from violations of discipline and law. The suspected criminal issues will be transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution according to law.
