HSBC Holdings announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it repurchased approximately 1.22 million shares on August 8 in Hong Kong at a price ranging from 97.6 to 98.4 Hong Kong dollars per share, totaling about 119 million Hong Kong dollars. On the same day, it also repurchased approximately 2.436 million shares on the London Stock Exchange and other exchanges at a price ranging from 9.281 to 9.385 British pounds per share, totaling approximately 22.714 million British pounds.
