Yushu Technology CEO Wang Xingxing: Embodied intelligent model has not yet reached the breakthrough threshold.
Yushu Technology CEO Wang Xing emphasized that globally, the current hardware of robots is sufficient, and in the future, continuous improvement of hardware details, cost reduction, increasing lifespan, and reliability are mainly needed at the hardware level. The biggest challenge is that the essential embodiment intelligent model has not yet reached a critical breakthrough stage. He gave an example, saying that it is currently somewhat like the state of language models before ChatGPT appeared. In the field of embodiment intelligence, there has not yet been a key breakthrough similar to ChatGPT. When will the embodiment intelligent model like ChatGPT arrive? Wang Xing believes that a milestone critical point is when a robot can understand commands in a completely unfamiliar environment and execute tasks smoothly. For example, in the future, if a humanoid robot arrives at a completely new venue it has never seen before, under the instruction to "pass a bottle of water to a certain audience member," the robot can smoothly complete the task.
