The National Flood Control Department has initiated a level IV emergency response to flood prevention in Guizhou Province.

According to the meteorological department forecast, there will be heavy rain in the northern part of Guizhou from the night of August 10th to the 12th, with some areas experiencing torrential rain. The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow alert for heavy rain at 18:00 on the 10th. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the National Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan, the State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters decided to launch a Level IV emergency response for flood control in Guizhou at 19:00 on August 10th.
