Academician Ni Guangnan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering stated at the 2025 World Robotics Conference on August 10 that it is currently the era of artificial intelligence leading the technological paradigm shift. Under the national implementation of the "AI +" action, the robotics industry needs to build an ecosystem of "AI + robotics" to better leverage its role as a new productive force. Ni Guangnan also expressed that the key to this requirement lies in enhancing the intelligent evaluation of robots, using a system of brain-eye-action synergy to improve the level of robot intelligence, truly allowing robots to see the world, understand the world, and act in the world.
