The Venezuelan parliament condemns US attempts to interfere in Venezuela.

On August 9th local time, the Venezuelan National Assembly issued a statement condemning the latest attempt by the US government to interfere in Venezuelan internal affairs, calling it an attempt to resort to "blatant interference" in Venezuelan internal affairs. Venezuelan Speaker of the National Assembly, Rodrguez, stated that recent US accusations against Venezuelan President Maduro of being linked to drug trafficking groups are "delusional acts of aggression" with the sole purpose of undermining Venezuela's peace and stability.
