In the first seven months of this year, the volume of rail-sea new corridor trains in the western region increased by 75.3% year-on-year.
According to the Nanning Railway Bureau of China Railway, from January to July this year, the Western Land-Sea New Channel train has transported a total of 872,000 standard containers, an increase of 75.3% year-on-year. It is reported that as of the end of July 2025, the Western Land-Sea New Channel train has expanded its cargo transportation categories to 1,291, covering dozens of major categories such as electronics, complete vehicles and parts, machinery, and food. It radiates to 162 stations in 18 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China, and has access to 571 ports in 127 countries and regions internationally, becoming a key link connecting western China with the global trade market.
