New York copper futures rose more than 1.9% on Friday, gold prices rose 1% this week, and the Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index has accumulated a gain of more than 11.5%.
On Friday, the New York spot gold rose by 0.04% to $3397.63 per ounce, accumulating a 1.02% increase for the week. COMEX gold futures increased by 0.03% to $3455.50 per ounce, with a significant drop in the early morning hours at 01:59 Beijing time, but still showing a weekly increase of 1.69%. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up 0.39% at 230.30 points, marking an 11.53% increase for the week. Spot silver rose by 0.17% to $38.3259 per ounce, accumulating a 3.48% increase for the week, while COMEX silver futures rose by 0.60% to $38.525 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose by 1.96% to $4.4840 per pound, showing a weekly increase of 1.08%. Spot platinum accumulated a 0.79% increase to $1330.78 per ounce, while spot palladium experienced a decrease of 7.06% to $1127.19 per ounce for the week.
