According to the Times of Israel, it was reported that President Trump of the United States recently had a heated argument with Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel during a phone call, in which Trump angrily disputed Netanyahu's denial of the existence of a famine in the Gaza Strip. The Office of the Prime Minister of Israel denied the report on the same day. The NBC reported on the 8th, citing an anonymous senior official from the United States, that the heated phone call occurred on July 28th. Prior to this, Netanyahu had stated at an event that despite widespread reports of hunger and food shortages in the Gaza Strip, "there is no famine in Gaza."
