GAC Toyota is recalling some Camry, Corolla, Lingzhi, and Fronlander vehicles.

Guangqi Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. recently filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures for the Regulations on the Management of Recalls of Defective Automobile Products. 1. Recall number S2025M0127V: Starting from September 30, 2025, a total of 69,169 units of certain new ninth-generation Camry models produced between March 7, 2024, and November 8, 2024; 57,402 units of certain Corolla models produced between March 16, 2023, and December 6, 2024; 6,574 units of certain Ling Shang models produced between March 15, 2023, and March 3, 2025; and 887 units of certain Highlander models produced between June 21, 2023, and November 27, 2024 will be recalled. Vehicles within this recall range may experience a black screen on the combination instrument panel during the initial startup, preventing the normal display of speed, warning lights, and other information, posing a safety hazard. Guangqi Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. will provide a free upgrade of the combination instrument control program for vehicles in the recall range to eliminate the safety hazard. 2. Recall number S2025M0128V: Starting immediately, 6,154 units of certain new ninth-generation Camry models produced between April 24, 2025, and May 23, 2025 will be recalled. Some vehicles within this recall range may have insufficient strength in the front suspension coil springs due to improper heat treatment during the manufacturing process. In extreme cases, the coil springs may fracture, affecting the stability of vehicle operation and posing a safety hazard. Guangqi Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. will provide a free inspection of the production batches of coil springs for vehicles within the recall range and replace the defective batch of coil springs free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.
