He Li wins the trademark infringement case against a medical equipment company and is awarded 1 million yuan in final judgment.

On August 8th, HeLi Investment Co., Ltd. released a statement. HeLi, as the plaintiff, recently received a final judgment from the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court in a case against the defendant "Changzhou HeLi Minimally Invasive Medical Devices Co., Ltd." for trademark infringement and unfair competition. The judgment determined that the defendant's use of the "HeLi" or similar signs in the production and sale of endoscope diagnostic accessories, staplers, and other surgical instruments, as well as in promotional activities, constituted infringement of the plaintiff's registered trademark exclusive rights. The defendant's registration of "HeLi" as a company name and its use in business activities constituted unfair competition. The defendant must immediately cease the infringing activities and compensate the plaintiff for economic losses of 1 million RMB and reasonable expenses of 80,000 RMB within ten days of the judgment taking effect. HeLi reiterates that Changzhou HeLi Minimally Invasive Medical Devices Co., Ltd. is not a subsidiary of the German HeLi Group and has no investment or cooperation relationship with HeLi Group.
