Tianjin initiates level four flood prevention emergency response.

The Tianjin Emergency Management Bureau learned that according to the forecast from the Tianjin Meteorological Department, there will be a strong rainfall process in Tianjin on the afternoon and evening of the 8th, with heavy rain in the central urban areas and the northern part of Beichen, Dongli, Wuqing, Ninghe, and Binhai New Area. There will be heavy to torrential rain in Jinghai, Xiqing, Jinnan, and the southern part of Binhai New Area, and moderate rain in Jizhou and Baodi. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Tianjin Flood Control and Drought Relief Emergency Plan", the Tianjin Flood Control Office, after joint consultation and judgment, has decided to initiate a Level IV flood control emergency response at 10:30 on August 8, 2025.
