Brazil initiated an anti-dumping investigation into glass fiber products involving China.

According to the China Trade Remedy Information website, on August 6th, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Notice No. 60 of 2025, initiating an anti-dumping investigation on glass fibers originating from China and Egypt. The products involved are described as E-type and/or E-CR-type glass fibers, using slightly twisted continuous filaments, with a linear density equal to or greater than 100g/km. The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 2023 to June 2024, and the injury investigation period is from July 2019 to June 2024. The notice will take effect from the date of publication.
