The Gansu Provincial Department of Water Resources has decided to initiate a level III emergency response for flood control in Lanzhou, Wuwei, Baiyin, Dingxi, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Longnan, and Tianshui starting from 2:00 on the 8th.
