Hangzhou, Zhejiang: Building a dense network of shipping routes to help accelerate cross-border e-commerce.
According to CCTV, Hangzhou, Zhejiang has the first comprehensive cross-border e-commerce pilot zone in the country, serving as the "origin" for major cross-border e-commerce platforms in China. The trend of "freight e-commerce" at the airport has become increasingly prominent in recent years, with cross-border freight volume continuing to rise and becoming a new driver of foreign trade growth. At the international cargo station of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, a batch of over 100 tons of cross-border e-commerce export goods are about to be transported by a full cargo plane from Hangzhou to Derby, England. This year, Hangzhou has opened three new international all-cargo flight routes to Tokyo, Japan, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and Ostrava, Czech Republic, providing strong support for the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce exports. Since the beginning of this year, the import and export freight volume at Hangzhou Airport has exceeded 110,000 tons. Among them, cross-border e-commerce goods account for over 70% of the total air export volume, becoming the main force behind Hangzhou Airport's "cargo" operations.
