Laurent Saint-Cyr appointed as Chairman of the Transitional Presidential Commission in Haiti.

On August 7th local time, Laurent Saint-Cyr succeeded former president Fritz Alphonse Jean as the chairman of the Transitional President Commission in Haiti. Laurent Saint-Cyr's term will be from August 7, 2025 to February 7, 2026. According to regulations, Haiti will hold new elections at that time.
