On August 7, 2025 at 20:00, the Beijing Water Authority and the Beijing Meteorological Bureau jointly upgraded and issued a yellow warning for mountain flood disasters. It is expected that starting from 6:00 on August 8, there is a high possibility of mountain flood disasters in Miyun District of Beijing, and a relatively high possibility of mountain flood disasters in other mountainous areas. The public is advised to stay away from mountain flood channels, suspend outdoor activities involving mountains and water, and take precautions against mountain flood disasters.
