JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US) appoints co-head of blockchain division to focus on tokenization and digital payments.

According to the Wise Finance APP, JPMorgan Chase (JPM.US) has appointed a new Global Co-Head for its blockchain division Kinexys. According to a spokesperson for JPMorgan Chase, Kara Kennedy will co-lead Kinexys based in Edinburgh along with Naveen Mallela. Kara Kennedy will be responsible for Kinexys' digital asset business, focusing on asset tokenization, and Kinexys Lab - which helps clients build blockchain project prototypes. Naveen Mallela, based in Singapore, will continue to lead payment-related businesses, including Kinexys Digital Payments and Kinexys Liink.
