A residential liquefied gas tank explosion in Dalian injured one person, official report states: leakage occurred due to improper user handling.

On August 7, the Ganjingzi District Emergency Management Bureau in Dalian issued a situation report: At around 5:50 on August 7, 2025, a liquefied gas cylinder explosion occurred in a household on the first floor of Building 15 in the Lipu Garden community in the Lijia area of Dalian Bay Street, Ganjingzi District, resulting in one person injured. Currently, the injured person has been sent to the hospital for treatment and is not in critical condition. Upon investigation, it was found that the explosion occurred due to improper use by the household causing a gas leak, which was ignited by an open flame.
