On June 6th, Japanese Honda Motor Co. released its financial report, stating that due to the impact of the US government's tariff policy, Honda's net profit from April to June this year was 196.6 billion yen, a decrease of 50.2% year-on-year. Previously, after several rounds of negotiations, Japan and the United States reached a trade agreement, with the US reducing the tariff rate on Japanese cars to 15%. Honda's Chief Financial Officer, Hideji Fujimura, stated on June 6th.
