The China Insurance Asset Management Association may be renamed as the "China Bank Insurance Asset Management Industry Association".

On August 7th, an insider from a certain insurance asset management company revealed to China Securities Journal Zhongzheng Jinniu reporter that the China Insurance Asset Management Association has convened a meeting for members to deliberate and vote on a name change to the China Bank Insurance Asset Management Industry Association. The renaming of the China Insurance Asset Management Association is related to the inclusion of bank wealth management companies in the association. After the renaming, the association will become an industry self-regulatory organization covering the bank insurance asset management industry.
