General Administration of Customs: From January to July, the total import and export volume of the 9 cities in mainland China in the Greater Bay Area reached 5.2 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.7%.
According to data from the General Administration of Customs, since the issuance of the "Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" in February 2019, the total import and export value of the nine mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area has exceeded 50 trillion yuan, reaching 50.67 trillion yuan. In the first seven months of this year, the total import and export value of the nine mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area reached 5.2 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.7%. The Greater Bay Area is characterized by high openness, strong economic vitality, and strong resilience in foreign trade, making it a demonstration site for high-quality development of China's foreign trade. In the first seven months, the nine mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area exported nearly 70% of China's digital cameras and over 80% of 3D printers, while importing more than 40% of China's storage devices and over 60% of computer processing components.
