Data from Private Placement Net shows that in July, the number of private placement securities products filed reached 1,298, an increase of 18% from the previous month, hitting a new high in nearly 27 months. With the dual drivers of market recovery and impressive strategy performance, the private placement industry continues to thrive. Since the beginning of this year, the total number of private placement securities products filed has increased by over 60% year-on-year, with quant strategies showing particularly strong performance and attracting a large amount of funds. In July, the top ten private placements in terms of filings were all billion-dollar quant institutions, with many quant private placements experiencing a round of rapid growth in their management scale.
