The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index rose more than 1.3%, while palladium fell more than 2.8%.

On Wednesday's New York session, spot gold fell by 0.37% to $3368.08 per ounce. COMEX gold futures dropped by 0.11% to $3430.80 per ounce. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up by 1.36% at 224.93 points. Spot silver rose by 0.06% to $37.8395 per ounce. COMEX silver futures increased by 0.27% to $37.925 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose by 0.63% to $4.4135 per pound. Spot platinum increased by 1.20% to $1338.37 per ounce; spot palladium fell by 2.85% to $1143.73 per ounce.
