In Hunan Yueyang, a truck out of control accident occurred, resulting in 2 deaths and 2 injuries.

A journalist learned from the Yueyang Tower District Public Security Sub-bureau in Yueyang City, Hunan Province that on August 6, 2025, at 6:48 pm, at the intersection of Dongting South Road and Zhuyin Street in Yueyang City, a small electric truck lost control while moving after unloading in front of a beverage store, resulting in injuries to 4 people at the store entrance, including 2 fatalities after ineffective rescue efforts, and the other 2 with minor injuries. Currently, the injured are being treated, the accident investigation and follow-up work are underway.
