Focus Media announced that the company plans to acquire 100% of the equity of New Trend Media held by 50 trading partners such as Zhang Jixue, Chongqing Jingdong, and Baidu Online through the issuance of shares and payment of cash. The transaction price is 8.3 billion yuan. After the completion of this transaction, New Trend Media will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Media.
