Focus Media: Plans to acquire 100% equity of New Trend Media for 8.3 billion yuan.

Focus Media announced that the company plans to acquire 100% equity of New Trends Media held by 50 trading parties including Zhang Jixue, Chongqing Jingdong, and Baidu Online through the issuance of shares and cash payment. The transaction price is 8.3 billion yuan. After the completion of this transaction, New Trends Media will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Media.
