According to the Securities Times APP, on August 6th, the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Natural Resources issued a notice on the "Action Plan for the Improvement of Rural Roads". The plan mentions that by 2027, the country will complete the construction and renovation of 300,000 kilometers of rural roads, and the basic network of convenient, efficient, inclusive, and fair rural roads will be established; implementation of 300,000 kilometers of maintenance work, with a road quality rate of more than 70%, implementation of safety and life protection work on 150,000 kilometers, renovation of 9,000 old and dangerous bridges (including life passage transformation, flood bridges), further improving the safety and service guarantee capabilities of rural roads; increasing the public transportation rate to over 55% in administrative villages, striving for comprehensive coverage of rural passenger and freight transport integration in counties with conditions, further improving urban and rural transportation service levels, providing strong support for the construction of a rural road transportation system by 2035 that is "reasonably sized, of high quality, effectively regulated, and offering high-quality transportation services", and achieving the beautiful vision of "people enjoying their travel, goods flowing smoothly".
