According to the State Grid, due to widespread high temperatures and high humidity, the overall electricity consumption in the network continues to rise. From August 4th to 6th, the electricity load in the State Grid's operational area reached a historical high for three consecutive days, with the maximum load reaching 12.33 billion kilowatts, an increase of 530 million kilowatts compared to last year's peak of 11.80 billion kilowatts. It is expected that on August 7th, the electricity load in the State Grid's operational area will remain above 12 billion kilowatts, and following this week, the load is expected to temporarily decrease due to rainfall and cooler temperatures in many areas.
