The Governor of the Bank of Korea, Lee Chang-yeong, will be absent from the August Jackson Hole symposium.

A spokesman for the Bank of Korea said that Governor Lee Chang-ryong will be absent from this year's Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium. Monetary Policy Committee member Hwang Kun-il will attend on his behalf. Note: This year's annual meeting will last for three days and will be held from August 21st to 23rd, with the theme "Labor Market Transformation: Demographics, Productivity, and Macroeconomic Policies".
