According to the latest data from the Ministry of Education, there are a total of 253,300 kindergartens nationwide in 2024, with 35.84 million children enrolled. Among them, 32.83 million children are enrolled in publicly funded kindergartens, accounting for 91.61% of all children enrolled in kindergartens nationwide. In 2024, there were 16.17 million admissions to primary schools nationwide. Based on the above data, it is estimated that the new policy could benefit over 10 million children in one year.
