7-11 convenience store's parent company, Seven & i Holdings, plans to add 1300 international stores by the 2030 fiscal year.

The parent company of 7-Eleven, Seven & i Holdings, announced on August 6th that it plans to add 1300 new international stores by the 2030 fiscal year, including large stores, as well as 1000 new stores in Japan. Canadian convenience store giant Alimentation Couche-Tard previously announced that it has withdrawn its acquisition proposal for Seven & i Holdings due to a lack of "constructive engagement."
