Microsoft announced that it will be integrating OpenAI's GPT-3 model into Azure AI Foundry.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced on August 5th local time that he is pleased to introduce OpenAI's gpt-oss model into the Azure "AI Applications and Intelligent Agents Factory" AI Foundry, and bring it to the Windows platform through Foundry Local. Nadella described this as a practical application of hybrid AI: users can flexibly combine different models, optimize performance and costs, and process data directly where it is located. Earlier that day, OpenAI released two open-weight AI models, GPT-oss-120b and GPT-oss-20b.
